Richard Stephens, M.D.
Dr. Stephens received his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and became a board-certified Anesthesiologist by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He then completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Pain Management with the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Dr. Stephens cares deeply about the well-being of his patients. He takes time to understand their background, explain complex diagnoses and treatment options, and answer questions compassionately. He utilizes modern techniques and procedures to provide the highest quality treatment options for his patients, including epidural steroid injection, median branch block, radiofrequency ablation (RFA), joint injections, genicular blocks, lumbar sympathetic blocks, spinal cord stimulators, regenerative medicine, multimodal medication management, Botox for migraines, minimally invasive lumbar decompression (MILD), and implantable devices.
